THE NORTH WEST’S ONLY AWARD WINNING MAKE UP WORKSHOP

Always striving to bring his A game to every job has brought its rewards for Davy and the Makeup SFX team. 2005 saw an EMMY for Outstanding Makeup and Prosthetics for HBO’s ’THE LIFE AND DEATH OF PETER SELLERS’ – while along with Royal Television Society Nominations in 2005, 2006 and 2009 Davy took home the award in 2004 for BBC drama ‘BODIES’ and again in 2014 for another BBC production ‘IN THE FLESH’. He also holds a BAFTA CYMRU for his makeup and prosthetics work on ‘DR WHO’.

As you’ll see from some of our recent projects, our workshop is constantly busy with the team working on some very high profile and critically acclaimed shows, most recently the Netflix drama ‘Safe’ starring Dexter’s Michael C Hall, Harlan Coban’s ‘The Five’ for Sky 1 and after two series of ITV’s popular Sunday night drama ‘The Good Karma Hospital’. We are about to take off to Sri Lanka to commence work on series three.
